A nautical adventure

The Hudson Waterfront Museum was founded in 1986 to provide programs and education about historic vessels as well as to expand public waterfront access in the New York area. They relocated to Brooklyn in 1994 after operating in Liberty State Park, Jersey City, Hoboken, Piermont, and the South Street Seaport. They are currently located at Pier 44 with your New York City car rental, open for you to visit from dawn to dusk.

They are expecting you to board the ship

You can visit the floating classroom and showboat when you visit Barge #79 with your New York City car rental. While you are aboard, you can see any vessels that are crossing New York Harbor and the Statue of Liberty. There is also a waterfront garden and boardwalk to enjoy the day along the water before heading back with your New York City car rental.
