The beginnings of The Town Hall
The Town Hall has played an important role on the New York culture scene for nearly 80 years now. Designed by renowned architects McKim, Mead & White, the building originally functioned as a meeting place for vibrant suffragists fighting for the rights of the 19th Amendment.
