Stay the Night New York

When you are in New York with your 15 passenger van rental, Stay the Night New York is a Victorian brownstone with seven guest rooms to choose from.

For guests

This bed and breakfast is located on 93rd Street between 5th Avenue and Madison with your 15 passenger rental van. The suites here are large, with plush carpeting and antique furniture. The rooms either come with queen sized beds or two twin bed, with a roll away bed as well. Some of the suites even have a Jacuzzi for two. There is also a one-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and two queen sized beds. Some of the smaller guestrooms here share bathrooms. Each room has premium cable and local calling. There is a fridge, coffee machine, and microwave in each room as well.

What you need to know

There are 7 rooms here to choose from when you visit with your New York rental van. The rooms cost between $75 and $205 per night plus $20 per additional person. These prices are subject to change. Breakfast is not included in the room rate. The minimum stay required is 3 nights, unless there is room in the schedule for 1 or 2 nights. Pets are not allowed on site. In order to reserve your room, you will be charged a 20% hold on your credit card, which is refundable with at least 7 days notice of cancelation. If you cancel less than seven days before arrival and they are able to fill the room, your deposit will be refunded. Check in is 2 p.m. and check out is noon.

Take a walk

Near Stay the Night you will find Central Park with your New York van rental. This is a large urban park in the city that covers over one square mile of Manhattan. A lot of the park may look natural, but it is almost entirely landscaped. There are several lakes and ponds, extensive walking trails, two ice-skating rinks, a swimming pool (July and August), the Central Park Zoo, the Central Park Conservatory Garden, a wildlife sanctuary, woods, a reservoir with a running track around it, and an outdoor theater. There are a number of events that take place in the park, particularly in the summer. Some of the popular things you may want to try if you have a chance are the carriage horses, which have been around since 1935. A more updated approach to tours of the park are pedicabs. Either of these options will give you a tour of the park and can cover a large distance within the park. Each summer, the Public Theater presents free open-air theater productions in the park. It is a great way to spend the night under the stars watching a play. Most of the plays put on are by Shakespeare, and they are high quality plays. There are also concerts that take place in the summer. The New York Philharmonic gives an open-air concert in the summer and the Metropolitan Opera puts on two performances. Concerts also take place in the park, so be sure to check out what is going on before you go.

For kids

If you are traveling with kids in your 15 passenger van rental, Central Park also has many things for them to do (and burn off a little energy). There are 37 playgrounds in the park, as well as dozens of activities for kids. There are performances by puppeteers at the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theater, childrens yoga, art classes, and wind chime making classes. Dont forget the carousel that has been here since 1870 either!
