Engage with your environment: Areas of interest inside the Zoo

The Prospect Park Zoo of today currently features three distinct thematic areas: the "World of Animals" the "Animals in our Lives" and "Animal Lifestyles". Each building provides customers of All Car New York Car Rentals with a unique look at different aspects of a variety of animals' lives. In the first building, the "World of Animals", visitors will enjoy exhibits dedicated to the diversity of wildlife found on our planet. From there it's on to the "Animal Lifestyles" building which illustrates how large and small animals interact with each other on a day-to-day basis. The center piece of this stunning exhibit features a spectacular Hamadryads Baboon exhibit. Younger customers of All Car New York Car Rentals are sure to enjoy the last thematic area at the Prospect Park Zoo, "Animals in our Lives". This interactive exhibit features a number of "everyday" animals, including those that are important in local commercial as well as society. All exhibits at the Prospect Park Zoo are designed to engage visitors and are based on the award-winning WIZE (Wildlife Inquiry through Zoo Education) program. Developed by Bronx Zoo educators, the WIZE program is one of the nation's most highly regarded children's wildlife initiatives. Animals currently on display at the Prospect Zoo include prairie dogs, porcupines, wallabies, red pandas and Merrkats. Domestic animals are also on hand, providing visitors with a small petting area experience.
