Old Westbury is listed on the National Register of Historic Places on 200 acres of formal gardens, landscaped grounds, woodlands, ponds, and lakes. Westbury House and Gardens are open every weekend from April 4th and every day, except Tuesday, from April 27 to October 31. They are open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Admission is $10, $8 for seniors, $5 for children 7-12. Children under 6 are free. There are daily tours of the house and garden on the hour and the half hour, based upon volunteer availability. The tours last about 45 minutes and start at the reception desk.
