What a wonderful world

The Louis Armstrong House Museum all began after the passing away of Louis and his fourth wife, Lucille. Louis lived in this house from 1943 until he passed in 1971. Lucille bought and designed the home but it is no ordinary looking place. You would think that a man of such honor and such high prestige would want to live in a lavish and expensive looking place. On the contrary, this house is two levels and is located in a working class neighborhood in Queens. The house was chosen to be opened up as a museum and what a great choice it was.
