James Goodman Gallery

The James Goodman Gallery is owned by James Goodman, who opened his first public gallery in Buffalo, NY in 1958. Here, he showed works by contemporary American artists and modern masters. In 1967, he moved his gallery to New York and was a found member of the Art Dealers Association of America. The Chelsea Art Museum

The Chelsea Art Museum is a contemporary art museum and home to the Miotte Foundation, which is committed to protecting the works of Jena Miotte. The museum focuses on exhibitions that reflect human understanding across a broad range of perspectives, and focuses on art of the 20th and 21st century. They have a permanent collection of 500 works of art, including paintings, etchings, sculpture, ceramics, tapestries, and works on paper. The Miotte Foundation is specifically dedicated to Jean Miotte and his works that he did in his SoHo studio. They are located at the corner of 11th Avenue and West 22nd Street when you visit with your rental van. They are open Tuesday through Saturday form 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., and open until 8 p.m. on Thursday. Admission is $8 for adults, $4 for students and seniors, and free for those under 15.
