What to expect

When you are here with your 15 passenger rental van, you will find Dupuy's Landing Guest House in a brownstone that was built in 1855 in the Chelsea Historic District. It is close to many things in the city, including restaurants, shopping, Greenwich Village, SoHo, Madison Square Garden, and the Chelsea Piers. All of the rooms have high-speed internet access that is wireless, as well as air conditioning in the summer.

Room Information

When you are here with your New York van rental, there are three different ones to choose from, depending on availability. 1A is a bright, sunny room that has a private bathroom and a queen-sized bed. There is a desk, table, phone, high-definition cable television, walk-in closet, and decorative fireplace. A coffee maker, tea kettle, fridge, and toaster are provided in the room. The nest room, 1B, has many of the same amenities as 1A, but shares a bathroom. It is a little bit smaller, so there is also no fridge or toaster in this room. The window overlooks the private garden. Room 1C is the room with direct access to the garden and has two single beds, a dresser, table, wash up sink, and closet. The bathroom is shared with 1B

Looking for more space?

If you need more space when you visit with your New York rental van, you can also choose one of the two apartments that are furnished here. Apartment 3A is a one-bedroom apartment with a futon couch that folds out into a bed for guests, dining room table , coffee table, telephone, broadcast television (cable can be arranged for people staying three months or more), and a decorative fireplace. There is also an air conditioner in the summer. The bedroom has a full-sized bed, dresser, and its own radiator and air conditioner. The kitchenette has a gas stove, fridge, and microwave. All of the cookware and utensils are provide here. The linens are provided here, but it is up to you to launder them during your stay as needed. The second apartment has the same amenities as the first, but has French doors that open to a view of the garden below. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed, dresser, and closet.

Planning your visit

When you are here with your 15 passenger van rental, you will find that once you step outside the doors of Dupuy's Landing Guest House, there are many things to do just outside their doors. Located in Chelsea, there are many things to do here. And you wont need your van rental once you are settled in. Many of the attractions are within walking distance or you can take the subway. A Metrocard will get you unlimited travel on the subway and bus network for a good deal. Chelsea has a number of cultures that have converged in the area. Since the mid-1990s, it has been the center of the New York art scene, with a number of galleries moving here from SoHo.
